Unemployment the Musical

Red Molly T-shirt

I won a summer 2009 art contest held by folk band Red Molly to do an illustration of the band for for a T-shirt. I was thrilled because they are one of my favorite bands!

Wilkes-Burro

Musikfest mural

In 2004, Musikfest, America's largest music festival put out a call for an artist who was willing to paint a 216-foot mural. I answered. My concept was to show the eastern Pennsylvania canal system or D & L Trail (Delaware and Lehigh Rivers) FROM A TURTLES POINT OF VIEW. My proposal was selected as the winning design from a pool of applicants. After Musikfest, my mural was to go on permanent display at the Banana Factory in Bethlehem. Shortly after it was errected, vandals destroyed the fence. However, the entire design is reproduced here. Look for special touches like bunny rabbits, a UFO, a T-red and cameo appearance of me sketching the turtles. Also landmarks from Wilkes-Barre, Pocono Mountains, Jim Thorpe, Coplay, Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, New Hope and Washington's Crossing.
